Floral Greeting Cards

I love summer, the long hours of daylight with lots of natural light to paint in. Probably this is why I love to paint flowers - bright, cheerful, vibrant and loose, so that I can keep summer alive even in the shorter and colder days of autumn and winter.

This year I painted summery florals on blank greeting cards. I chose the size 5x7 in because it’s perfect for a card as well as for displaying in a frame later (if you really love the art on the card). The card itself is a good quality watercolor paper, 300gsm & cold pressed. I chose to keep it blank inside so that it can be personalized.
