The Bijou Fountain Pen - Blue Revelry, a Review
The Bijou Fountain Pen Blue Revelry, inspired by the crown jewels, is a 2025 limited edition pen from Ferris Wheel Press. It was released to mark the brand’s 15 year anniversary. It is one of the most beautiful fountain pens that I have come across.
It is a visual delight - a sleek and elegant looking pen in a vibrant and stunning electric cobalt blue color that shimmers in the sunlight. And it comes in a beautiful and sturdy box.
It has a brass body with a Snowfall Lacquer finish, a very intricately detailed grip with a double gold plated finish and a two-tone No. 5 stainless steel nib. I was mesmerized by the engravings on the grip! It really looks like a work of art! The exquisite craftsmanship adds a touch of luxury to the pen. Maintenance of the pen is easy and hassle free because the nib and feeder unit are removable. It also includes a Standard international sized converter. It is recommended to not post the cap onto the pen as that may damage the lacquer finish.
It’s a pleasure to write with this pen. It’s compact and feels so comfortable in the hand. I love how the nib moves smoothly and very effortlessly on paper and the ink flows consistently with no breaks. I really enjoy writing with this pen in my journal pages. It makes my overall writing experience so much more enjoyable and fulfilling. So I give this pen 5 stars!
