Wildflowers of Texas

Continuing with my 100 day flowers, today I’m sharing a few breathtakingly beautiful wildflowers that bloom over here in Texas. Sometime in early March, the very pretty and whimsical looking Bluebonnets first make their appearance. You can see them everywhere, by the sidewalks, around the lake, driving on the highway….everywhere! They never cease to leave me enchanted. So, yes, they are my top favorite wildflowers from Texas.

But I also love the fragile pink & yellow Evening Primroses, growing close to the ground, blanketing the sides of the highways and the walking trails. And then there are the bright red-orange blooms of the Paintbrush, the deep yellow Indian Blanket & Coreopsis (not pictured here).
